Call for IBIS related patent disclosures: - None Call for opens: - None Review of previous meeting minutes: Minutes from the 16 AUG 2022 meeting were reviewed. Randy Wolff moved to approve the minutes. Lance Wang seconded. Without objection the minutes were approved. AR review: - (done) Bob will start a bug report with a test case for bug235. - Weston did not do the collation of power-aware topics for the quality checklist. New ARs: - Weston will review and collate the quality checklist, specification, and parser messages related to [Pin Mapping] and package models. - Bob will submit a bug report for bug236 regarding terminal list order for ISS file reference. - Bob will ask Michael Mirmak if the security issue is still a high priority for Intel and what we might do with that issue. NEW ITEMS: Bob created the first draft of bug report for bug235 about C_comp_model_mode subparameter. Bob found in review of bug235 that there is another bug. He submitted this item as preliminary bug236. This is a problem in the parser expecting the terminal list for an ISS file to have the reference terminal as the last in the list under Number_of_terminals. The specification does not state that the reference must be the last in the list. Bob will create or update the bug report for this problem [AR]. Randy noted that Number_of_terminals under [C comp model] for an ISS file must be >= 2 and at least one terminal must be a reference. The reference is not required to be the last terminal in the list. Bob's example uses a terminal label Buffer_I. Randy suggested the the terminal label Buffer_I is a special case. and the example should use the general case, Buffer_IO. Bob brought up bug227 - Root Name check (IBIS-AMI). This bug is not included in the parser update contract, because it is related to a new BIRD that was recently approved for version 7.2. The discussion of this bug is deferred until we start work on a version 7.2 parser development contract. There was a small problem with the signature process of the parser development contract. Laurie has left SAE ITC and is not available to sign the contract. The new person who could sign the contract has done it. Randy Wolff signed the contract, so it is complete. Atul asked about bug232 if section 3.1 of specification relates to all external referenced files. Does the specification exclude the option of using an absolute path to reference another file? Randy said that the newer syntax that reference external files added the possibility of defining a file location in a sub-folder of the location of the parent file. This addition was probably not added retroactively to PKG and EBD syntax. Absolute paths are never allowed since this creates a problem for distributing models to different folder structures. There was no additional discussion of the quality checklist. Weston needs to review and coordinate the existing checklist and parser messages. Tabled topics (no discussion without motion): - IBISCHK security fixes Weston moved to adjourn. Randy seconded. Without objection the meeting ended. Meeting ended: 12:49 ET Next meeting 06 SEP 2022
